Rent-a-dog/pet

Isn't there a term from many years ago about these rent-a-partners? Something like taxi partner, taxi girl, or taxi dancer?
 
Nah... "they" = those trying to make a quick buck off of the lazyness/lifestyle issues of the general public.
 
I wouldn't be able to 'rent' a pet. If I was able to pick one out that I liked I probably wouldn't want to give it back. They would then have to call it 'steal a pet'.

membership = 100 + 12*50 = 700
annual cost = 40 per day * 30-50 visits per year = 1200 - 2000

total cost of renting a pet = 1900 - 2700. Probably averaging around $2200.
is this really worth it?

for this price,i could probably enroll in a russian buy-a-wife scheme :rolleyes:. there is a good chance that she'd already know how to dance :nope:
