Renting your studio for a private event

Hello! I was wondering if anyone has ever "rented" your studio for a private event, and if you have what was your experience?
I'm contemplating an inquiry from my studio for my Roaring past the 20's 30th birthday as I would love to include a night of dancing as part of my celebration (and most of my friends are from my studio too).

I love your avatar dress so much.

Our studio costs too much even at a teacher discount for me to rent, so I haven't, but others have, and it's nice to have festivities in your "own home" with everything accessible because you're used to the location. More people tend to come to events there, because they're already familiar with it.

If you can swing it, I'd recommend trying it.

Thanks for the props on my dress Hedwaite.
That is what my thought was, and I believe what ever my charge will be includes our instructors being there too (which will be nice because there always seem to be a lack of guys). And all of my friends were made at the studio. Just depends on the *cough* price.

There's plenty of latin venues here in San Diego, but not too many places for smooth on a Saturday night.
