Someone just joined our team who was a C-class latin dancer in Russia. What would that be in terms of bronze, silver, etc.? She needs to know for partner-finding purposes (and hopefully, for competitions!)
My understanding is that for adults, roughly: E = bronze/silver, D = silver/gold, C = gold/novice, B = novice/prechamp, A = prechamp/champ.Someone just joined our team who was a C-class latin dancer in Russia. That's roughly Novice-prechamp in USA Dance, and "open" in collegiate. IMHO, B class is a solid prechamp in USA Dance, and fairly descent "champ" or "open" in collegiate. Of course, it also depends on the collegiate region. What region/school is this for?
