Salsa Streaks

I am in day 5 of a 6 day streak. It wasn't planned but sort of happened(ok, I went out last night just to keep the streak but that's it). I know someone else here has had a 3-week streak. This begs the question what is your longest streak of "social dancing", ie: practices and lessons don't count unless you had a seperate social event afterwards.

edit: practice and lessons count if there is not social dancing readily available to you on the day in question.

I thought about disqualifying congresses but if you can go to a congress that typically lasts 3-7 days and then still go out dancing the next few days then you are hard-core.

oh yeah i also had a salsa vacation before that (in cuba), it lasted 8 days WHEW! i was sick afterwards 8)

7 days, a combination of salsa and ballroom. If I recall correctly it did feel good to spent a quiet night at home after that.

Wish I could do streaks! I voted none, because I'm tiny and miserable and I only have time for salsa once a week. Believe me, if my parents weren't out to kill me, I'd do streaks. I'd do lots of streaks!
BUT. We have to get to that darned university too. Crikey.

Ahh, yes. You were looking a little peaked that night. I'm surprised I actually made it out myself since that was night 6 for me too (the Oscar D'Leon and El Canario concert the night before absolutely killed me with those 15 minute songs!)

6 nights in a row. What were we thinking?! :lol:

horrible sound system,
expensive drinks that closed down well before the concert ended.

Great dance partners,
Great musicians,
actually quite a good floor(save the carpet)
