San Diego dance venues and\or events for next week(Sep 9 thru Sept 15)

I'm going on travel to San Diego next week from Sept 9 'till Sept 15th and am looking for something to do on the evenings. Are there any interesting dance venues or events that you guys could recommend?

San Diego has so much to do, go , see, enjoy - evenings and such,,,,SDSalsaGuy will probably be the expert in that region. ChampionBallroom is on 5th street. Croce is also nearby (run by Jim Croce' son and family) there are also several Tango venues, etc etc. truly depends on what you want to do. You could also try "google" your questions and plan from there if you cannot get a response the msg boards. I personally love the Gas Lamp District where I can walk to everything.

I'll get to enjoy San Diego as a whole a little as well, but need my dance fix as well.

Everyone recommends the Gas Lamp district, so I'll prolly drop by there a bit today or tomorrow.
