Saturday is the big day!

Well, Saturday will be the first big competition for my wife and I. We have worked hard, and we are hoping that we will make a strong showing.

What is a little scary is we are starting with:
Gold Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Quickstep
Open Foxtrot, Tango
(Standard)

A couple of people have told us that we should have started lower, but we are now committed to this goal. Our coach says he believes we will look like we deserve to be there. I hope it all goes well.

Shelley has a beautiful yellow dress from Dore. Dawn helped us in a big way.

I hope you will be thinking about us early Saturday morning, and maybe even cheer for us if you are at Heritage. :)

Quite true! Might even qualify for the most support for a pro/am entry ever now that I think about it! :shock: :lol:

I think that's awesome they put you in a higher category, what an honor! Show them you belong there and bring down the house! Congratulations and I wish you the best :)

We were feeling a little stressed today (you know that feeling that your routines aren't perfected enough), but our coach worked us hard, and I think we might just make it. :)
