Scuff marks on court pumps

Good tips on removing them? Can't imagine pro would have stepped on me - must have been a sooty-footed ghost

I use a wet washcloth and liquid detergent, which doesn't get them completely good as new, but close enough for another comp. Lots of shoe washing tips here: https://www.dance-forums.com/threads/how-do-you-keep-satin-shoes-clean.19646/

I also spray new shoes or freshly cleaned shoes with ScotchGuard. You do have to be careful about not getting any of it on the soles of your shoes . . . . unless you like really fast shoes!
