According to the DWTS discussion board:
Mya - Foxtrot
Aaron - Jive
Mark - Samba
Kelly - Salsa
Joanna - Rumba
Donny - Quickstep
Michael - Foxtrot

They also have team dances tonight.

Donny, Joanna and Kelly - Team Tango
Michael, Mya, Mark, and Aaron - Team Paso

hmmm, her footwork looks a bit clunky to me. But that could be Derek's fault for slinging her around :p

The tango felt more tango-y thant he paso did paso to me. Course, I also felt the song chosen for the paso was more of a cha to my mind.

Didn't hurt that some of the tango reminded me of my own tango, of course. :)

I thought Kelly did a respectable job with her salsa and Louis gave her a decent salsa choreography. It contained the salsa basics and real salsa turns, steps and moves. I thought it was overall better than Joanna's choppy mambo. I expected a disaster because I never like the mambos and salsas danced on this show and was positively surprised. I just wish they had given them real salsa music, too...

Again, I thought Len was unfair to Mya and too harsh on her with his comments. Contrary to last week, she did not waste much time on "other stuff", I loved the intro and ending of the dance and everything in between, it looked so smooth and elegant and light... And their outfits were beautiful. What do the ballroom experts say of the technique?

I think the judges really overrate mya and joanna....

Mya's postition this week in foxtrot was weird... her back was overarched and there was no contact between her and dimitry... and i agree with Len in that there weren't enough closed positions/basics. And I know everyone was upset about the way he came down on her jitterbug last week but, again, weird posture... her neck was forward and she kept doing some attitude-pigeon-head-bob thing... i think she has potential to be awesome but her own ego is getting in the way. Obviously she doesn't think she needs to work on technique since she has dance background so instead she works on "wow factors" and gimmicks... honestly i don't think her BALLROOM technique (which is different than the technique she has from previous dancing) is as present as the judges give her credit for.

And Joanna is overrated too... although i think smooth is her stronger style, her neck is never in line with her spine, and that was especially evident this week when she did neck snaps during tango this week... she had little control in the respect, but overall good. More concerning is her latin... why does no one else think she looks stiff and completely dependent on derek? he just throws her around and it looks terrible.. also, she never straightened her legs during her rumba and smartly wore a longer skirt to hide that...

Now, that's not to say that the other contestants are so much better than mya or joanna, but i think these two are given much more credit than is deserving. To be honest, i don't really have a favorite this season... i don't think these contestants are as strong as previous seasons.

Anyone agree or disagree?? comments welcome! :)

I also don't have a favorite this season, although I am enjoying the show more now that there are fewer contestants. No one really shines. I really disliked Joanna's rumba last night and was surprised by the judges' compliments. She definitely has some talent, but it just didn't come together. Too clunky, movements too disjointed.

I really felt Mya's foxtrot was very lacking.... and not just on her part. Demitry's frame and footwork were not exactly correct....to put it nicely:( Seriously he missed so many heel leads I was shocked.

I agree, very much, about Demitry's foxtrot, I couldn't bare to watch it and thought Mya did a better job dancing it.... IMO

I liked Karina and Aaron's Jive. Well, I am biased a little bit because Jive is one of my favorite dances. I did not like Mya's. There were too many things in the routine, not enough dancing. The pants of Luis were hilarious.
