Hi all Slavik and Anna's fans! Yesterday the 3rd place of the European Champs. was taken by Slavik and Anna who WON rumba!!
 
The scores are quite interesting.

Samba was closer than expected between #1 and #2 couples

Slavik and Anna also got more 1st place marks in the Samba than Sergey/Melia so that was a pretty close race for all 3 couples. Marks bw Sergey/Melia and Slavik/Anna were actually pretty similar throughout.. and they tied in the jive. I think that if Slavik and Anna stay together, they could be a real force to be reckoned with :D
 
I believe that is another way of declining his name in Russian....

That being said, I have only about a month of Russian under my belt, and that was almost a year ago (I am picking it up again soon now that I am not so busy with school)... so my understanding of the Russian language is elementary, at best...
 
It's the same name; although Slavik is simply a younger-sounding nickname in Russian than Slava for the same full name of Vyacheslav... No big deal and nothing weird about it.

FWIW, I am a native Russian speaker.
