slow fox song title/artist?

would someone be able to help identify the slow foxtrot song played in the '2011 California Open - Pro Standard' (You Tube title) clip, tune starts about 8:53 into the video? i've tried google on the lyrics, but, darn, don't know enough french to get enough of it right...

many thanks in advance ...

Bump. I was just looking this one up myself. Luckily, French is the primary language in my home! Unfortunately I can't find the song title anywhere, but I'm pretty sure the group is called "Saule et les pleureurs." They are Belgian.

I took a few minutes and transcribed the first verse for you. Hopefully that gives you something to work with.

1st verse:
c'est dur de vivre a moitie seul et puis un moitie saule (play on words here-see group name)
alors je m'invente une autre vie plein d'aventure
de grosses motos, de belles voitures
alors je m'invente des nuits pleines de whisky
des bars, des saloons, et des jolies filles!

CHORUS:
Je tourne mon western en solitude
Et je tourne mon western en solitude ____ (my wife and I couldn't catch this word)
Je tourne mon western en solitude
Et je tourne mon western en solitude ____

English translation
It's hard to live half alone and then half Saule (word play)
So I invent another life of adventure
Big motorcycles, beautiful cars
Bars, saloons, and pretty girls!

I film my western in solitude
repeat x3?

If you find out, let me know. Anyone have a song ID for it? Maybe it's time I asked Brent or Didio...

citizen, many thanks for the lovely transcription and translation. The style, wit, and expression of the song really does express the lyrics. mon western...marvelous. i have continued to search for the song ID since the first posting, and am most amused at how elusive it is proving to be. so, onward with the search, i'll send you an update if found - i think it may simply take connecting with a competition dj. my teacher knows a few, so i'll ask him.
