Song Lyric for a foxtrot

My instructor has mentioned a song that he's heard at a couple of competitions. It's a foxtrot, minimal music - bass, guitar, drums, vocals.

The lyric that he could remember is something like a chant of "jukebox, i click my fingers beside (or by) the jukebox". Does anyone know the name of the song and the artist?

The Googles... the iTunes... they've done nothing and I don't know anymore about the song.

Thanks!

It sounds vaguely familiar... Brian Setzer / Stray Cats, I'm thinking, but I can't quite place it...

Hi Everyone,

The name of the Foxtrot is indeed "Jukebox" as Larinda said and the artist is "Sugar Ray's Flying Circus" it's an oldie but I do have it on a CD here somewhere so it may still be available in that format.

Happy Hunting,

I didn't find a Sugar Ray's Flying Circus anywhere in any music database but I did find Sugar Ray's Flying Fortress on

www.amazon.com/Baby-Sugar-Rays-Flying-Fortress/dp/B0000009K3/ref=sr_1_1/103-3174251-8674240?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1187371445&sr=1-1"]

(amazon.com) and they have a song called Jukebox that is amazing like the clip Larinda posted but in English. Thanks for everyone's help!

I just received an email from Rick at Dance Trax and below and he said it can be special order for around $20 - $25 since it will have to come from Europe and there is no distributor here in the States that carries that song any more. :-(

yah, the song isn't anywhere on the net if you search with the title & group name. in fact, if you search just on "jukebox" and "foxtrot", this thread comes up as the 6th result...

too bad. very cool song from what i can hear...

Not sure, but I think the group is actually called Sugar Ray's Flying Fortress. You'll get a lot more results this way on Google.

Other Versions

Hi everyone,

I love collecting music and I was wondering if there is a way I can find the Italian and the French versions of jukebox because (the french version) sounds sooo much better then the English version found on Amazon.

If you use iTunes, you can change the store country. I've found that useful in finding things only available in a non-US market. Alas it won't let you buy from the non-native store but it's a good research tool!

hmmm... so ive tried responding but it hasn't worked, so forgive me if there are 2 responces that suddenly pop up in a row :P

oh cool, i learned something new today :) how do i go about changing the itunes store?

I keep seeing references to people googling for songs -- but do any of you ever use Gracenote for this purpose? They have a good music search tool. They don't tell you where to get the music, but I use it when I only have a partial name or only a song name but not an artist or album or vice versa. Just add dot com to the name if you want to take a look.
