The fast paced ones that people grind to, which ones are they? I know there's that "lean back" one, and that "automatic supersonic" one, and that beyonce one, but i'm really clueless about this type of stuff because i just listen to classical music. I am totally uninformed about rap/hip hop/anything that modern society plays in dances
So if you could list the songs and the artist who created those songs that would be VERY MUCh appreciated.

Wow. You want a list of the top 20 pop, r&b or rap songs? Big dance coming up? 8) Are you planning to practice? Just flip the radio dial til you find a party station near you. Then jam. No problem.

Incidentally automatic, supersonic is called One Two Step. It's by Cierra (sp?) featuring Missy Elliott on the raps.

And which Beyonce one? There are a bunch. And then there's Destiny's Child, of which Beyonce is a member. Umm. Soldier is getting the most airplay here at the moment... :?

tre

I personally wish we ballroom danced a lot more but in the Key club convention i'm going to(3000 people, which is why i'm really nervous) i need to find the popular songs so I can learn to dance to those that will be played there.

PS: I know that they arn't playing anything but B&G because I asked...

Understood. I'll dig up a list for you within a day or two. I mean the good songs that I like, not just the radio ones. youngsta is a good one, too. He's a DJ, so he knows.

But bottom line, there is no such thing as B&G music. You can bump and grind to lots of different kinds of music. But trust me, I've been doing this a long time. Any music you can grind to, you can also do a recognized partner dance to. You just have to know which dance to do. 8)

teach me your ways  I read through the Dance Index and I never knew you can partner dance to B&G stuff.

Oh, and no rush for the list I just need it by Thusday night.

*giggle* I don't work here anymore.  I'll pull together a list as best I can, but unfortunately, my DF time for today is about up. Later, though... 8)

Actually, I think there's an older thread here with some titles that you can start with...

West Coast Swing is a personal favorite of mine for this. B&G just gets kinda old... ;)
