Southern States

I thought I would mention I am at Southern States this weekend. It is morning now in the hotel and I'm looking out over the French Quarter. We drove in and saw places like the Ninth Ward, and it is really amazing how much work is left to be done here. There are so many abandoned buildings and houses throughout the city, though the French Quarter is looking pretty good now (and it was not flooded).

This is a pretty small competition which is pretty good for us, and I think we will actually win some scholarship money this time. Wish us luck.
