Stadium seating at competitions

Are there any competitions left in the United States that have stadium seating? I recall going to the Ohio star ball quite a few times and of course the seating arrangement is pretty cool. So maybe that one remains? Any others?

When I watch competitions in Europe or China, it seems like this is more the standard rather than the exception. Do you agree?

Assuming I am somewhat right about this, it seems like the competitions are not earning much money from the General Public, but again their revenue comes from wealthy students who are involved in the Pro-Am circuit by and large.

It probably has something to do with a spectator ticket costing anywhere from $50 to over $100. I am assuming when there are more people attending, it is much easier to offer a price for tickets that makes it easy for anyone to enjoy watching while I'm dancing. Anybody know about the price of spectator tickets in Europe or China?

Last time I was at Emerald Ball, they had stadium seating in addition to the tables. But I agree that revenue from non-dancing public is probably around zero :)
Do you mean those little stands that they put up and take down with a few rows? Or do you mean stadium seating that is a building feature with 10 rows or more?

It probably has something to do with zero advertising to the General Public in the US.

The NDCA National Amateur Championships are held in the Marriott Event Center on the BYU campus. It's a huge arena and a lot of fun to dance in.

I mean the portable stands. Believe the room is used for other purposes during the rest of the year.
