Standard Practice Wear HELP please

The one I have is Chrisanne, I bought from dancesport dot uk, cost $70 ( I bought it when pounds were strong like 1:2), now you should pay less as USD got stronger in relation to pounds and euro. It's made of stretchy fabric, quality great, very comfy, worth the money.

They are all too damned short on me; can't find any that are a good length:( The one I just bought is 37" long and I have to wear it low on my hips to get it to desired length... 40" would be about right I think.

Stop bragging says the woman who is just barely 5'4".

OK, a question from another barely 5'4", which brand would/did you get? I feel like all those standard practice skirts/dance pants are too long. I bought a couple of pairs of yoga pants in Old Navy, but I was able to try them on and make sure they work for me. I feel like if I go to danceshopper or another place like that and try to buy a long item, I run a huge risk of ending up with something too long for me.

Why not ask the seller how long the item is and measure yourself from the point where your skirt would sit to the point where you want the hem to hit to make sure it's short enough... What I did as far as being long enough goes... Some sites that sell these skirts already list the length anyway...

I rarely practice in skirts so I'm not much help on this. And the one I do wear I made, so....I was just teasing Ithink about her being tall. Wish *I* were tall!

It's easy to hem something that's too long--or cheap to have your dry cleaner do it. Says the woman who's 5'8" and can't add length to too-short items.

My coach always prefers to se me in pants---makes it easier to see the legs.
Finding pants to dance in is a problem---does anyone have some ideas?

p.s. my pants are "worn thin"!!!!

I just dance in whatever I pulled out of the closet (but not jeans). But then, I wear pants that have some lycra/spandex in the woven fabric to give them a little "give."
