Stoning my dress! Help picking stones?

Hi everyone, I'm stoning gold lace on my cream-white Latin costume and so far have bought 10 gross of Topaz Preciosa stones, which stand out very well on the lace. I'll be buying crystal stones (no AB) to stone around the lace, but I want an accent color around the Topaz stones that's darker, but still definitely gold (and not brownish) colored, e.g. no Smoked Topaz. What colors would you recommend? I'm looking at Topaz AB, light topaz AB - any other suggestions? Thanks :)
 
Can you post a picture of your dress? I'd like to help, but I've learned the hard way there are so many grey areas when discussing color and design. Your dress, based on design, might need other accent colors. Also, your perception of gold and cream may differ from mine. Sometimes colors don't come across the Internet as clearly as we would like, but the pictures would at least give an idea of the color. :)
 
How about:

- Aurum (i.e. gold)
- Light colorado topaz (light brown, but on the darker side)
- Smoked topaz (did you already list that?)
- Mocca (dark brown)
- Dorado (matte brown)

Found on danceshopper. Not sure if Sahara is still being carried?
 
Light Colorado Topaz (or Light Colorado Topaz AB) came to mind when you were describing what you are doing.

I have not seen arum for a while; I've heard that it is no longer made. Can someone confirm it?
 
I designed/made a dress with the intention of using Crystal Aurum - but everywhere I asked, they told me they were a retired Swarovski color. Anyway, a friend of mine found a place in Boston that sells them - but that's just one place. Either way, they are so unbelievably expensive too... silly 22 carat gold plating...

Maybe Golden Shadow and Jonquil AB for the golden lace???

BUT: It's really hard to tell if you don't have the fabric before you. When I choose stone colors, I go to a shop where Swarowski stones are sold, and bring my dress or fabric, and then try to find the best match.
