Studio parties?

Does your studio hold parties for holidays etc? Any of you have one for Halloween? I was thinking of asking my dance director to hold a Halloween practice party this year, costumes and all :]

The group I line dance with hosts a Halloween dance every year...complete with costumes...and it's always a blast. I highly recommend a dance party! Good luck!!!

Oh yeah! Go for it. It's much fun. The studio I used to attend had one every year, with prizes for the best costumes. And people really love it. Last year, the winner came as the invisible man. No fooling. He wore all black, wrapped his face in black bandages, and wore a cool tan fedora! Excellent.

I went as the tiger lady, ears and all! what fun!

Yeah, the studio I go to always holds a Halloween party and it is the only one here that holds a New Year's Eve dance.

I can't wait to ask my boss. I know we're having some sort of party earlier in the month...but I want to have a halloween one and dress up!

MissAlyssa, do any of the Phoenix area studios do New Year's Eve?

I don't think the Paragon does.

Spitfire...I just read your signature...it's hilarious...in a sad, somber, twisted kind of way. (major giggles goin on) :D

It's the most notable one from that cemetary; there's other good ones as well.

Speaking of Halloween and dress up, do you have a costume ready? We get to dress up at work...the one plus about my job...and I am SOOO excited.

I was going to spend my entire Labor Day weekend working on wedding plans and ended up working on my Halloween costume instead. Can't wait to wear it...I'm going as Miss Moulin Rouge! I'll have to take pictures and get one posted after the 31st.

My apologies...I digress from the original topic. Just had to share!

Mine's a Phoenix Suns basketball uniform; the old road one which is the appropriate colors. Very easy and inexpensive compared to others I see.

I'm not sure, I haven't been in the business long enough to find out!

I think you should go for tiger lady. Lots of cleavage and lots of legs ... and a tail and ears. Can't beat that.

Of course, I didn't win the costume contest ... because WOMEN were judging it!
