Should I add a cortina music between every tandas?
Which one is better?:
4 Tango + 4 Tango + CORTINA MUSIC + Vals + CORTINA MUSIC + Tango + Tango + CORTINA MUSIC + Milonga
Or
4 Tango + CORTINA MUSIC + 4 Tango + CORTINA MUSIC + Vals + CORTINA MUSIC + Tango + CORTINA MUSIC + Tango + CORTINA MUSIC + Milonga

if you have a party with a traditional Cortina structure, then there should be one between every stack (second model).
Or do you mean a cortina for dancing to other music than Tango? Then it would be called Tanda, too: but a Salsa or Swing Tanda even. But a non Tango (Vals, Milonga) Tanda should occur less often than the usual ones (first model).
But f.i here in my home town the Cortina structure becomes even more and more rare, independently wether traditional or modern music is prevailing.

Interesting question. I know some DJs who vary every song but as a dancer I find it confusing - sometimes you're not sure whether its a cortina or not. Yes I also dont like those who use say a full length salsa track as a cortina. I'd rather have the salsa as a separate tanda.
Personally I use about 4 or 5 different cortinas in a 3 hour playlist, so there's some variety, but not too much. You could even use different parts of the same song for cortinas.
Another thing Ive found is to keep the cortina as short as possible. They say in BsAs it should only be long enough so the floor is cleared. So the smaller the floor the shorter the cortina. And any more than 20 or 30 seconds people will start to engage with the song rather than see it just as a "filler".

Yes please. If you are using cortinas at all, they should be between every tanda.
My reasoning is: People can tell by themselves the difference between tango, milonga, and vals - that's not what the cortina is for. The cortina is there to mark the end of the tanda, any tanda - clear the floor, clear the auditory palate, and allow a lady to have a bit of control over her evening.
Cortinas are better than no cortinas. Intermittent cortinas are worse than either, as far as I'm concerned. You think there are going to be some - you rely on being able to stop politely at the end of the set - and then they just abandon you!

I think cortina music is a message for people that means music style will change. But if I play 4 tango (for example canaro) + 4 tango (for example Di Sarli) there is no need to play a cortina music. However, after playing 8 tango song (4+4), before playing vals or milonga I should play a cortina music. Right?

No, that is not the purpose of cortina music. The cortina is there to mark the end of the tanda - not a change of style - and to make the dancer's evening easier and more pleasant. All tango tandas are not the same, they should not run into each other. After each tanda, the cortina comes to clear the palate and give everyone time to clear the floor and (if they wish) find another partner. The next tanda will be a different orchestra - I may not like it - I probably don't want to dance it with the same person. In either case, I want the opportunity to make that decision politely and calmly at the edge of the floor, not be walking off through other people trying to dance. If I really want to dance 8 tangos in a row with someone I can easily still do so, if I wish - but I don't want to have to count songs while I'm dancing so I can know when I have to rush!
And I certainly don't want to be mucked about by disappearing cortinas.
Please don't do what you're proposing.

A cortina is a social politeness to find new partner/ politely finish with current partner. It has nothing to do with music style.
If you are only considering partial cortinas, and you have experienced tangueros/as attending the milonga, you will only make people mad.
Either have cortinas or don't have them at all and let people choose their own stopping points (I have been to milongas where that was the case with either recorded or live music and it worked fine, since I could choose how long to dance.)

No it isn´t ! First of all it is a very polite opportunity to get rid of your former dp !
A cortina is no token for the style change, at all. The first piece of a tanda indicates the style of the following pieces! So, in BAs couples usually wait half a piece long (all the way gibbering) before they decide whether to dance or not. So you may add (in mind) the first piece to the Cortina and call it "extended tanda" time.

25 = La Mariposa presumably. I think this is a bad choice. It's not really dance music, and even those who like late Pugliese find this unusual major key off-putting.
Is 26 a mistake? That Pugliese + Fresedo does not work at all.
I think the four-milonga tanda is too long. Milonga and vals tandas serve as breaks from tango rather than alternatives - they need to be short.
