Summer 21: events, milongas, open practicas

I find it very difficult to find out about Tango events, they are scattered around on different websites. I would be grateful if you post about any kind of event going on this summer in Europe and especially in Germany. Festivals, milongas or open practicas.

I joined Facebook (not happy) in hope for more info but once you are on certain groups you just get a lot of trash posts and I don't really have time to check it thoroughly.
I also can't see anymore online seminar offerings, now I want the real stuff.

I hope that is not a problem with the rules on this forum.

Many countries/regions/cities/etc have a website with a calendar for all (or most) milongas, practicas, classes, workshops, festivals, etc. You need to find the right website.

In Belgium for example, that would be www.milonga.be. Of course, the agenda is not well filled currently.

This friday there will be the first of the open air milongas on the banks of danube in budapest. And their other open air milongas might be restarting as well. Worth traveling for? Probably not. But the views are nice.

Oh, I danced there, a dream! Spectacular views and some great dancers. I would love to do it soon again!

Hungary lifted restrictions on dance events (up to 500 participants) last Sunday. I DJd the first "post-covid" milonga this Monday, it was a long wild party with at least 90 dancers. Since Monday there is at least one milonga per day in Budapest, some days more (i.e. this Sunday we will have three, one of them is in an amazing outside location at Heroes Square ).

To attend dance events in Hungary, however, it is necessary to show a valid immunity certificate. There are a number of countries with which Hungary already has bilateral agreements to accept each others immunity certificates, but if you are not from one of these countries, until they roll out the common EU vaccination passport I'm afraid I can't recommend a visit.

(By the way Poland continuously had and still has quite large underground milongas, especially in Warsaw, with a very good dancing level. A possible destination.)

Speaking about Warsaw, they are busy over there. :)
Recuerdo Tango Festival Warsaw. It is full, but if anyone is vaguely wondering where the parties will be happening, looks like it will be fun.

And here we go again. You have to apply all over in couple, tango festivals, milongas, practicas whatever.

I'm so tired of that. I DO NOT WANT to apply in couple, whenever I did that it I ended up feeling obliged to dance with my partner whenever he wanted and that's not my understanding of a fun event.
