There's more than one way to dance to anything, but what do you hear in this music? is there a dance [style/form/type] that fits the music during the piano solo? What dance comes out of you if you let this song take you?

The style is artrock and due to the slow passages at the beginning WCS may fit best.

I would switch to hustle (aka disco fox).

In swing I'm comfortable dancing 6-count or 8-count patterns (or any combo of 2-counts). I don't feel a need to begin the "1" of the move on the "1" of the music every time. Hustle's 3-count "&1 2 3 &1 2 3" trips me up.
