actually...dh and I talked about this last night...about what would be deal breakers for us ...so you might want to think about that...for me it was smoking other than occasional socially, and rigidity in political and religious views, and a lack of interest in a reasonable level of fitness...
as for what i would like: smart guy, lots of interests (would be nice if one of the main ones wasn't himself)...if there is one thing I wouldn't abide anymore it would be someone I had to pester out of solitude...I like my privacy but ...well...dh is very solitary...he admits it...and well...that is something that I would prefer was different...then again, I seem to surround myself with people like that and then feel frustrated that I can't change it...so maybe that is an important aspect of the whole thing Laura...is not only what attracts you but is the reason behind it a good one... ?

Well, I'm looking for a date, not necessarily a new husband, so I don't want to be too picky at first. I see myself going out with someone who isn't a tech-nerd (or at least can dress like they aren't one), who likes fine food and wine and performing arts, and who can talk about something other than their job.
