Synchronous on the beat and synchronicity

No it doesn’t.

It means an action with respect to some agree upon unit of time. In simplest terms it can be “you leave an hour after I leave” or the cell towers requiring to be synchronized for smooth handoff when you are on a call on your cell phone. Both are examples of synchronization, though a lay person might interpret the latter as simultaneous.
???

I just said it does NOT necessarily mean simultaneous. As you've explained, a lay person might consider that some events appear simultaneously, although they're synchronised.

Hardly worthwhile going into detailed explanation here.

end a song four times than not at all... turn it into a pause

Being very nitpicky here, but at least for me there's a distinct difference when ending versus a pause. A pause tends to be more active — think stillness in motion, motion in stillness — while an end tends to be more relaxed, a release of tension, and no conveyance of any expectation that there will be any more, a sense of finality. Any follower worth her salt can sense that — happened just the day before to both of us, and we ended up bursting out in laughter after we got tricked multiple times!

Not that I don't agree with that piece of advice, though — it's a good heuristic!

Yes, but not the instant the song ends, so there's definite potential for plausible deniability here! (Though, yes, in practice it's more usually mutual laughter. Had the opposite recently where a DJ just removed all of the pauses between the songs, so there were no endings at all!)

Agree with this.

I am going to steal that quote. Very good one!

Agree again.
