I just checked and SYTYCD doesn't start till Wednesday, Sept 9th at 8pm and it will be a one hour show. But remember as the season goes on they usually change the days on which it airs. But season 5 was a Wed/Thurs air time.

My mistake on the start of the season is already up for everyone's amusement in a SYTYCD Audition thread I started. The schedule conflict is shown on TV Guide.com's Fall Schedule, where SYTYCD is scheduled for Tuesday-Wednesday.
The SYTYCD audition shows are going to be drawn out by just showing an hour long show instead of two hours and only on Wednesday night, at least for the first two weeks. I haven't found any listing beyond Sept 22, which is Tuesday and the second night of the three night DwtS starting week, with seperate men's night/women's night performance shows for two hours each and a result show on Wednesday. So I'm expect by the end of the month TV Guide will have it right and the regular weekly showings of our favorite dance shows will be overlapping.
