Kayla and Brandon - Contemporary (Stacey Tookey) & Disco (Doriana Sanchez)
Jeanine and Ade - Hip Hop (Nappy Tabs) & Samba
Melissa and Evan - Broadway (Tyce) & Quickstep
 
Dang. Would have loved to see Janette's Samba, but I think (hope?) Jeanine will do a respectable job. Kinda scared to imagine an Evan/Melissa QS though :shock:
 
They're trying to get rid of Evan and Melissa it seems. I think they'll be disappointed with the men's results at least.
 
Yeah, Evan seems to have a HUGE fan base. Never in the bottom even with stink-o performances.
 
My expectation for this couple is not high, but who knows... Evan could steal the show w Broadway..

NO LIE. Poor Evan & Melissa. I wish them the best. Hopefully they can rock out the Broadway number. I love love love watching Evan dance broadway.

Be still my beating heart. LVA is going to choreograph. I thought it was a pity when he retired from competition, but man alive. He's every bit the kick-bottom choreo that he is a dancer. I want more Amstel in my dances TYVM.

My least fave of the 6 is Ade followed by Jeanine.
 
I don't want any of them to go home. I heart all of them but maybe Brandon the most of all. I am in awe of Melissa every time she dances. OK, so maybe not the Quickstep tonight, it just wasn't their dance. I saw a lot of mistakes and they just couldn't sell it. What was that business with trying to make her shorter? So what if she is taller than Evan? She isn't a foot taller than him...

I also LOVE Evan. Gene Kelly lives again in the spirit of Evan! Yay!
 
Like the men's routine that started the night. Surprisingly, Evan was just as strong in that dance as Brandon and Ade. Did not expect that.
 
I really didnt like the disco routine and thought had a lot of sections that didn't flow and wasn't smooth to the eye... not sure why it got great reviews from judges(?). Based on this week, I'm starting to like Brandon/Ade and kayla more and more!! followed by Ade.

Dont really care for Jeanine (sometimes she seems so grounded that looks slower than the others-- which works in some styles) or Melissa (I would like more emotional connection from her) or Evan (more variety,, for me it seems he dances all styles the same). but never less....

They are all amazing, which has made me switch my favorite from week to week!! I agree w judges, someone needs to start standing out as the winner SOON!
 
I really don't understand the Melissa love at all. She is so weak at every style and only okay at ballet. I am quite tired of her and hope that she is not in the finale. I think Kayla is the best dancer of the girls left while Janine (still an excellent dancer) brings more personality to her numbers. So I'm fine with both of them in the finale as each has something the other doesn't.

As for the guys, it's been Evan's time for weeks now. I love him but he has not grown (in fact, I feel like he's digressed) and he is nowhere near up to the standard that Ade & Brandon are.

If I could pick a winner, it would be Brandon. But I have a feeling that they are pushing for Kayla to win.

Still think Jeanette should've taken the whole thing.
 
I totally agree the disco got raves it didn't deserve. The choreography was frantic & I saw lots of off balance moments from both dancers - which I totally blame on the choreographer. Someone - Nigel? - made a comment about dancers this season falling prey to the choreography - so right. That said I still don't understand his love for the brunette girl whose name I never recall. And ahthough I love Brandon I thought Nigel's comment about his solo should never have been made. No other dancer got any comments about their solos. Seems Nigel's totally pushing his favorites. Oh & Lil C just needs to go - he rarely says anything coherent & doesn't seem to understand any genre but his own.
