Several of our local milongas have been held in church parlors.

I learned the fundamentals of tango in several churches. It's fairly common in US since they are rented out for different activities.

From 1. - 5. may the German Kirchentag (national protestant church congress) guested in my hometown Hamburg. And of course we did organize a milonga "SpiriTango" for the evenings´s entertainment (besides praying, studying and evangelization, of course).

Recently looked for and found photos taken at the Tangomood encuentro which was hosted by the Kampen Kirke in Oslo, Norway.

Several milongas here are held in former churches (one of them is named 'la catedral', of course) but so far I have not witnessed anything special, no dance on sacred music, no tango celebrations. Here or there some words about the new Pope, and that's all.
