Tango DJ-ing

The owner of the location enjoyed the way his projector was used, which usually shows gentle waves on the beach. That's good for me, I'm now in the local DJ rotation.

And initial feedback from regulars indicated that I had made a good choice of music. I suppose my technical competence influenced the perception of my musical competence here, to be honest.

When I'm back on the floor next week, I might find out whether the projection distracted while dancing or not.

Another DJ now used a monitor at chest height. Personally, I found that much more distracting than the large overhead projection, because I had to dance half a round to read it. What I learned from him is to display the next tanda only at the last title.

But that's more of a disadvantage, isn't it? You can't miss the last piece to find out whether you even want to dance to the upcoming music.

That information gets displayed also during the cortina and of course when the next tanda starts. At least until that you should know whether you want to dance.
