Tango for Covid-19, the Lockdown Vals, Isolation Milonga?

Obviously not the most catchy titles:rolleyes:

Tango evolved through financial depression, loneliness, hard times, repressive governments, lost bets, lost love, etc., etc. Modern times have provided Electotango (love it or hate it). We have groups playing the 'golden years' music, and some new tango compositions. Ignoring some modern tunes which can be used for tango (and vals or milonga) and the 'Tango for Listening' orchestral versions, is there anything evolving in the current situation from contemporary musicians and composers for AT dancing? Maybe we've not yet had the opportunity to hear it?

Aside from electro tango and nuevotango music, I don't know. Mostly bands playing the classical repertoire. I think the moment has passed for "new" compositions of classical, danceable tangos. That ended in the mid-50s.

There are many contemporary AT orchestra that have copied some old orchestra or inspired by some old AT.
And there are new AT songs by those orchestra, I didn't explore enough to give some recommendations.

I like the Piazzolla plays Piazzolla sessons:
