tango memoirs

just finishing church of tango by Cherie Magnus does anyone know the real name of the tango star "Mario Gonzalez" she mentions in the book from the move Tango the motion picture . Or did she make him up.

Also can anyone suggest another great tango memoir and movie.

There is no Mario Gonzalez listed in the cast listing for Tango 1998 at IMDB, but I've been thinking about watching the film again. (Or is that the dvd I lost?)

I don't think I would call any of those memoirs, but...
