I didn't catch a lot of it, but I did see a salsa/merengue band (Banda Rika) - although they played mostly merengue with a couple of cumbias - dancing in the grass was a new experience...the ground was uneven, somewhat tripping me up, but the dry grass allowed me to spin well.

What's Taste of Chicago? A concert? A music festival?

There were about 70 area restaraunts selling food and free concerts and other things

Ah. Now I understand. A friend of mine helps organize A Taste of Orlando. I think the two festivals are similar -- lots of food, with some entertainment besides. Cool. 8)
