Tempi of Nightclub/Country Dances?

Many NDCA comps offer competitive events in dances outside of the normal big four styles, like Argentine Tango, Nightclub 2-Step, and so on. Are there any guides for the tempi of the songs that can be played for these events? I have a list here of dances that can be entered for an upcoming competition, but only the ones bolded have any sort of tempo specification in the NDCA rulebook:

Hustle
Salsa
West Coast Swing
Merengue
Samba
Bachata
Nightclub 2-Step
Polka
Peabody
Country Waltz
Country Cha Cha
Country 2-Step

Never saw this before.

Paul McClure has a useful chart in his book The Pablo Stories (about his adventures during the big CW craze) on page 218. He lists 7 different organizations each of which has different ranges.

Two-Step has an overall range of 150 - 216
Waltz from 88 to 120
Polka from 110 - 150
No listing for cha cha or nite club.

UCWDC is the only CW comp org that I see mentioned now a days.

McClure has an interesting graph on p 219. It's a scatter graph of the number of couples dancing WCS at various tempos, and it looks like a flattened normal distribution (a fairly large variance) with a mean around 120 bpm.

There are so few AT competitions that I don't think I've ever seen any guidelines.

As far as NCDA events... I know Nothing!

Hmmm.... what organization is running the competition? I concur with checking what UCWDC says. FADS competitions include all of those dances except for NC2S and Bachata. Their tempos for the non-ballroom dances should not be taken as gospel, but would it be helpful if I asked if there are FADS guidelines? (My guess would be that they don't use as fast a tempo for Country 2-step as would be used at a CW competition.)
