This is pretty much your lamest attempt at trolling so far. What, a swing, ballet, and ballroom routine? Who cares?
I would say that this was a pretty successful troll....20 replies in 20 minutes..what do you want from an early morning cup of coffee? Crikey!
Anyway, I'm mainly here to educate, myself and others; and so..the following video is AS FAR AS I WILL Go in sanctioning anything 'new' in Argentine Tango..- This is an example of what can be done with 'knowing the music' and with great cadencia in spite of not being Argentine!!!......ps; from my virtual experience by the way, Bucharest is looking better than Italy to me...even more alive, less pretentious and VERY real.
:kissme:

What - ballet? Have you been drinking?.
Well, I know for a fact that Andres Amarillo y Meredith are taking intensive ballet lessons. I know a woman that is in their ballet class. Why would you think that they were doing that unless they thought that there was a future there.
Here they both are two years ago...wait 'til you see what they do this year..Swan lake anyone?

Classical ballet training is an excellent way for anyone to improve their dancing. True, there is probably style involved, but the technique is impeccable.

Because its more fun than going to the gym?

Ballet is great training for flexibility, control, balance, and strength.

Mario, I believe that your post, as many of your posts, are from ignorance rather than intentional trolling. Case in point... posts like this will get you; officially reprimanded, infractions, suspensions, or worse. I hope you meant it as a joke, but a little common sense and forethought is a requisite for cyberspace discussions.

Regarding this thread, dance is art, and has forever crossed genres. In Vienna, many years before you discovered AT; Facundo and his wife, Kely, were well known in BsAs for their swing dancing, Julio Bocca made a career of mixing ballet/AT, there was an entire ballet company devoted to tango, I taught salsa/swing for a living in BsAs while learning AT (testifying not to my kudos, but to the fact that AT dancers, even in BsAs, dance more than what you might consider as your pure perception of what AT is/BsAs is/dance is.

In the future, please do more research before posting threads like this, and, please, refrain from posts/comments that refer to successful trolling.

PM coming.
