Or does owning a Professional Competitor's clothing somehow add something to your dancing?

I've been pondering the question in my sleep for 2 days now. Is there some magic ability imparted to the dancer who wears an item previously owned/worn by a pro?

Definitely. For some people wearing a former champion's shoes works. Didn't mean to be so abrupt in my first posting. [I just got rudely woke up by someone from work on my day off as they couldn't figure out the password that I gave them when I upgraded their computer over the weekend!! :x Heading off to bed so I am in a friendlier mood the next time I log in!! ]

Well I guess in respect to costumes it would make you feel more secure knowing that your dress was "OK" and not some weird monstrsoy you'd happen to pick on your own. Of course this is all negated if you wear a a pro former monstrosity.
