Definitely not. That only would be true on the surface. Single axis is much harder than shared axis. If you look at the curvature of a poorly taught tango student's spine from the side, you'll see how they further increase the double lordosis when they have to stand on their own axis. The opposite should be true, however. Unfortunately, only few tango teachers understand anything about movement physiology.I don't know how strongmen or -women manage this axis thing. And even for a weakling, standing alone will be the easiest thing to do..
