The Weather Thread

UGH ... Haven't had a weekend this whole summer without some time of rain here in the NE. Blah .... at least it isn't a drought and for that I am grateful
Really? Cuz it feels like we've got a drought out here. It seems like we've had "too much" good weather. (I hate rain, although I know it's very necessary.)

Really and your not to to far from me. maybe like an hour. Not uncommon though.

Also too ... I meant that we have rain (drizzle) to rain!(downpours.LOL) all summer. Or maybe that dang cloud just kept following me. Hahaa!

i think that ike will not hit us.

Cool, but crisp almost Fall day - sunny, a few puffy clouds out over Lake Michigan. The lake is a steel blue color this morning with a few small waves.

We don't like Ike. :evil::headwall:

Everyone in Houston, please take care. The next time I visit the area, I hope Galeston is still there.

Starting to get the remnants of Ike up here in Indiana...weather is downright crummy...but still humid! Blech. :mad:

Ike hasn't made landfall yet. Maybe it was the last one that is now up there.

On "Ike-watch" right now. The thing is huge. 450 miles across, with hurricane force winds 100 miles out and tropical storm winds 275 mile out- we'll get that at least. Landfall expected early tomorrow am.

Galveston had high tides and street flooding from incoming surf begin 2 days ago. I think that's what decided them this time that this one is seriously heading that direction and I hope everyone listened and got themselves and their pets out.
