Things that your dance instructor may not want to hear

"I'm going skiing."

I'm so injury prone that when heard I was going on a tame hike with another student he put her in charge of making sure I didn't get hurt. When the topic of skiing came up once he just looked at me like I was a crazy person. I've actually decided that he's correct about the skiing: the injury risk isn't worth it for me. I spend a huge amount of time, effort, and sometimes money keeping various body parts in reasonably pain-free working condition.

Haha, yep, Same here! I went skiing for the first time two years ago and loved it, but now with Ballroom, it's just not worth the injury risk

"Students at the other studios get to do <thing that you desperately want to do but am stymied by the damn arbitrary rules>, why can't I?"
