Do you shave down there

I HATE hair removal of any kind down there, but I see no way around it sometimes. I'd be curious to hear pain-free, quick, effective ideas on HOW to get rid of it without that gods-awful growback. NOT COOL for close-fitting couture!

(don't worry- I'm normally the one who first assaults people for innuendo questions. This, IMO is a very valid quandry... even if it's REALLY awkward to discuss with malefolk around. Yet another case of "you bstrds have it so much easier with your danglybits! Grr!")

Sorry friend

Sorry about making you feel angry, just wanted another opinion.

I "do" my bikini line, yes. You have to, if you're a lady who wants to wear a swimsuit, unless you're blessed with little body hair. It's part of my routine in the bath -- the razor hits the armpits, lower legs and bikini line.

A leotard doesn't show any more than a swimming costume.

I shave when I wear a bikini. Gets pretty itchy when it grows back, so I don't shave unless I'm hittin' the beaches.

Ditto all the above. 8) Never had a bikini wax, though. Can't imagine ... uh. No. Better not say what I was thinking.

I can guess.

Ditto about the bikini line (I don't wear leotard since I'm a social salsa dancer, but I swim regularly), and can I say that this topic is NOT sexual at all, and you have nothing to worry about being banned, milla. 8) This is simply about something you need to consider re. dancewear/costume. A totally valid topic, in my opinion. We also have threads about male body hair and dancing buried somewhere in these forums.

i think the skin around bikini line might b too sensitive for bikini wax...for me personally, i could never use any wax products - the last time i used anything remotely similar - i ended up bleeding like mad!! P.S., girls, when you pull a hair off your skin, don't you start bleeding??? i've never understand how wax could possibly work....

No bleeding when I get waxed. Hmm... maybe you just have sensitive skin.

A lot of people swear by regular bikini waxing. I think I'd find the whole process rather embarrassing, so I shave instead. 8)

Oh, and btw, I don't find anything sexual about this topic at all. Shaving is a just normal part of grooming. *shrug* Have no fear, milla. 8)

i think i'll stick to shaving for the time being, ending up w/ swollen & broken skin's just not my thing! - anyone tried the depilatory cream/lotion? i heard constant shaving wil only make your hair grow faster/thicker, i wonder if there's any scientific backing??
