Tips for healthy knees

This may not help prevent injury but...
after many years of intense ballet training, I developed knee issues at the age of 12. A doctor recommended taking a daily glucosamine supplement and, surprisingly, it actually helped. This may be something to try for anybody who finds that their knees get achy or stiff.

I take glucosamine and it does help...also helped my dog btw...but it will tear up your stomach if you take it on an empty one so be careful....

for my knees, jacuzzi everymorning, walking backward on the elliptical....remebering to never lock them out while dancing, remembering never to take my knee over my toe...lots of warming up before moving

I've had knee problems from wrong technique and rubber-soled shoes. I fixed the technique and shoes and now I try to keep my legs strong (not just the quads) and my abs supporting and nothing has happened to my knees. :D
