Toll House Cookies

Does anyone have the Nestle toll house cookie recipe they could post?

I've got all the supplies, but was a dumb-arse and neglected to get the nestle cookies w/ the recipe...plenty of chocolate chips, no recipe. And I really don't want to take a shower and go out to the store just for that.

Anyone?

Oh, jeez. *where is that stupid head-smacky emoticon???* I never even thought of that.

Toll House cookie recipes don't belong on the in-tar-web...it belongs on the back of a freakin' back of chocolate chips!

i know what you mean. hearkens so warmly to the days of low-tech...

wish i could join you for a few when you're done...

Ditto.

I'm baking them for the dance tonight, and a get-together tomorrow. Must get crackin'. (I cheat, though, and just make cookie bars. I don't have the patience for batches of actual cookies. Besides, cookie bars fit much better into a glass of milk.)

My other teacher has banned me from bringing them to his house or his dance. He loves cookies...esp. chocolate chip ones...

:D

That's why I bake and bring stuff to socials. Fun of baking...fun of eating...but I only get to have a little bit...and I don't have leftovers to be tempting me at home!

:p

So...which is more evil...toll house cookies, or girl scout cookies?

Did I mention that I make mine w/ half mil and half dark chocolate chips?

Ditto! You have no idea how badly I want a cookie right now!!

Alas, there are no cookies in sight . . .

. . . (probably for the best).

No kidding. I'm such a weakling to tollhouse temptation, too. There are actually GS cookies in the kitchen here at work, but they do not remotely compare to homemade tollhouse cookies. Probably a good thing. Just gotta think about tollhouse cookies and my new bathing suit. That should probably halt my urge to go home and bake.

peach, my mom used to use the tollhouse recipe w/ peanut butter to make the most delicious bars for camping... i always preferred the bars to the cookies, in that case.

you could cut them real big.

Oooh, what did she substitute for the pb?

Me? I just spread warmed peanut butter on top of them.
