Topline Shoes

Does anyone have any recommendations/thoughts on patient Topline shoes for leaders? I have not heard of this company.

Patient shoes? :p
Are those the kind that sit around in your car and don't whine when you don't dance in them?

I wore patent and regular shoes while in the military. The patent were nice and pretty, but really hard to maintain, and if you got a scratch on it you might as well toss it in the trash.

I preferred regular leather. It isn't that hard to get a nice shine, and they seem to last longer.

Caveat: I don't know if any of the above applies to dance shoes, but I do know my first pair of dance shoes was regular leather vs patent.

Ah yes, my missspelllinggs catch up with me again. I guess, I'm asking more about the company than a patent vs. regular leather debate.

The typical patent-finish ballroom shoe has a synthetic upper that has "permanent" shine. Nothing to do but remember to apply some petrolium jelly to the instep side of each shoe so you don't trip yourself if/when when they touch!
