Tufts 2013

Is anyone planning on going? My new partner and I are thinking of making it our first comp. I remember that Tufts usually attracts a good number of Boston smoothies, so hopefully we won't be out there alone!

I'm considering it, especially with Columbia being moved to March and us not competing at Yale or UConn.

Because a certain partner cannot be convinced to make the trek up to Boston, and my other partner already has an engagement that day. If you see certain partner at the studio, though, put the pressure on her!

I've always loved the tufts comp.... but alas...... this year I will be in DisneyWorld........ Sorry dlliba, dancing with you does not compare to spending quality time with good ole Mickey Mouse...

I'm actually really really bummed I will be missing it!!

I could, but that would break my current partner's streak of being the only girl I've competed Smooth with for the past three and a half years. I've had a revolving door of partners in the other styles, but I've only ever competed Smooth with her and my newcomer partner before her!

I wasn't sure from the website, so does anyone know if Tufts holds the open events right after the syllabus events in the same style instead of an evening session?

I don't recall Tufts ever doing an "evening session". Unless something has changed, all Open/Champ events take place after their respective syllabus levels.

Which means Open Smooth is gonna awesomely take place around 10:30 am... whee.

That being said, it also means that I will be back home at a decent hour on a work night.
