Two Dances Going On At Once

If you have multiple separate rooms, with separate sound systems for each room, as Starlight had, the marginal cost to add another room with a different dance theme was minimal. The DJ's were volunteers who would get entry passes to other socials or group classes.

Went to a dance in Tempe, Az last night. In addition to their regular Friday ballroom dance there was also WCS going on in their practice area. I'm guessing that having two dances going on at the same place at the same time is done in other areas, but it's the first time I've seen it at any of the ballroom venues here or up there. I think this is great if a studio has a practice area of ideal size to do so.

Yes, I have been to the same place. Sometimes the main ballroom music gets too disco, or Latin, so it's nice to have that little refuge for WCS.
