I do not like Valentine's Day
It reminds me of being single.
I hate being invited to a valentine’s party and I have to go alone. And I’m supposed to wear red.

I hate people asking me what are going to do tonight.

I don’t like seeing all these flowers when I’m not getting any (the only flowers I get are from my girlfriends).
Getting all these text messages from your friends (I love you ‘friends’, but no thanks)
Chocolates are always good, so I’m not complaining about that.

I just don’t like Valentine’s Day.

Happy Valentine's !!

(I'll TRY to give out love)

I love your thread!

Woke up in a foul mood this morning. gosh darnit!! I don't want to be alone today.

Hey! I have a new business idea. Someone could just invent a boyfriend-for-a-day dating service. I don't want to keep him. I just want him around for major holidays, particularly holidays involving flowers and candy.

yeah
Boyfriend-for-day needed:
Good taste in presents...(loads of them)
Chocolate and flowers
Good looks
Good dancer
Available for a couple of hours...not more
No playing games
No cooking and cleaning expected
No pampering expected

(wouldn't it have been great if life was that simple)

I had actually forgotten it's Valentine's today till about 2 pm. Once upon a time Valentine would make me so sad. I'd see my schoolmates giggling and my girlfriends wondering if X would text them. Half of them had a boyfriend, so they didn't miss a beat in glowing like newborn cattle. Ugh. I blinked around and asked God "Why me???"
This year... I've finally realised it's just one day in 365, and if I'm supposed to wait for Valentine's to find love, I'm in deep poo. And I'd be saying that even if I had a significant other. I wouldn't turn down an offer of gifts from him, but I would be dissapointed if I realised he finds it compulsory.
So I won't really whine about Valentine's this year. :D

I had a friend like that. He would leave his boyfriend when I needed a hug or a "drop dead make your friends drool for years date." He was a perfect gentleman. Open doors, flowers, danced, body to die for, sigh.. just that one problem..we both drooled over the same guys.

But he was great to have for a "date night" no pressure for anything more than a good time out on the town dancing then make sure you were safely home then call you later.

Oh well. Have as good a Valentines day as you can and your day will come soon...

I don't whine the rest of the year. But it's crazy today...you see it everywhere, in the street, on the radio, in restaurants, in shops, it's crazy.

I'm glad the day is soon over.

What a bummer.

Single can be fun!

Maybe you'll find a single guy that you can flirt with appropriately.

Didn't Bogart say something like, "This could be the beginning of a wonderful friendship."

I hate people asking me what are going to do tonight.

Hmmm ... I wonder how much money I could make doing this?
