Vegas Dancing

Trips to Las Vegas are possible in the future. Was looking at the list provided by VegasDancesport.com for the venues there. See that there is a Wednesday WCS dance, but for those of you familiar with the Vegas scene I want to ask which of the ones for ballroom would you most recommend?

Oh all right, I'll bite. the Gold Coast. Although their "ballroom club" scene changes - it is posted on the first floor outside of the small club. The music is really good though. Then I exit - and head for CW 2-steppin, Hustle, WCS and NC 2-step at another venue. Now, that said, if you really want to just "club crawl" - not saying that you will but it is interesting when going with large groups or good friends - the web site travelzoo dot com offers a 5 hour - limo and driver and club passes provided for VIP entrance, drinks, dancing, and 3-4 great clubs and you don't do the driving - but it's rather fun with good friends.

I know, too much information. and nothing particuliar to ballroom.

Actually considering LV as a follow up to the annual Mid Summer Night's Ball in Flagstaff in August. My niece just moved to LV since she just got a job there and given the invite to come visit sometime.

Was just checking the info on Gold Coast 3w. Dances in three sessions on Sundays; take my pick, as I would arrive on a Sunday and stay 2 or three nights.

Did my trip to Las Vegas following up the Flagstaff dance. Went to the Gold Coast for the Sunday ballroom dance and didn't really care for it. Was going to meet up with the local WCS dancers in the lounge on Tuesday at the same place, but was unable to since the lounge was closed for the week. When I visit in the future I'll try for a full weekend.
