I want to find an easy video editing software where I can add my own music to a video in youtube or something similar. is there such a program? I only want to do this so i can listen to my favorite music while watching someone good dance. thanks in advance

I just bought 2 programs, Song Surgeon and Video Surgeon. I was just buying Song Surgeon but prior to check out they made a great offer on Video Surgeon so I bought both. I bought Song Surgeon because it allows you to change the tempo. There are also tools that help you to adjust the voice after it changes with the slowed or quickened tempo. Haven't used it much but playing with it I think it will be very helpful. Video Surgeon, I know lets you add music, and I think it lets you remove it also

thanks tworightfeet, downloaded the program, ran it took about 1/2 hour to get a project working. excited that i can do this now with all my music and videos!!!

yes you can. i did get to the point of rippinng to dvd to view on a stand alone dvd player however, i am adding couple of videos so i will combine them to add to the dvd. please note that although its free there is suppose to be a time trial of 14 days. I havent reach that stage yet but when i do somewhere someone was able to reinstall or something to get it to work again. the cost of the program i checked was about 60 buck, not soo cheap. but the software is very intuitive so i dont have to click around too much to get what i want in the video.
