Viewing videos in slow motion?

Not sure if there is some kind of program that allows you to do this, but does anyone know if there is a way (legal) of viewing video clips (dance of course ;) such as on youtube), in slow motion? Very frustrating re-playing things over and over when trying to discern moves/styling, etc. Your help is much appreciated!

maybe you can download the youtube video (using keepvid for example), then play in slow motion using your desk video player such as (VLC for example)

If you are using Firefox then you could install an add-on that would let you download a YouTube video to your computer. Try going to the Firefox site and look in the add-on section (there are a few popular add-ons that should be suitable).

And I second that VLC media player would be a good choice for playing back these videos.

Thanks for the recommendations. Will get the download and try it out as soon as I can - who knew there were so many options?
