Volunteer State, anybody going?

Wondering who was going to Volunteer this year? It is in a couple of weeks.

We are. We're going down Friday evening to catch the Saturday heats. Bringing one of our students down as well, since she's never been to one.

We almost decided to go, but I got the impression the amatuer couple turn out was quite low, so we opted for a different competition. We went last year, and we did like the venue, and would consider it again in the futue.

would love to do it sometime...am on a hiatus of sorts at the moment, but love david and his students

I did this comp last year and it was really good time. Very intimate setting in the ballroom. Unfortunately my schedule could not accomodate it this year, but I definitely recommend this comp.

student decided last minute that she wanted to do it so i will be there dancing friday and saturday.

I decided to go last minute... will be there only on SAt due to a Fri conflict...my first time, but was told is a good comp and good atmosphere.

Did it last year and enjoyed it, but this year we're doing a comp in Birmingham. We're actually a bit peeved that they are both the same weekend, but it's a studio circuit thing, so we're trying to support that.
