Hello ! Nice to meet all of you.

I am a girl around 20 years old living in Hong Kong.
I want to meet more people who like latin dance.
I have learned Latin dances for 9 months which include Samba, Rumba, Cha Cha, Jive, Paso Doube, Waltz, Tango....

If you also like Latin Dance, let's go out to practice the dance together in HK.

Actually Tango is a Ballroom dance (Standard dance) not a Latin dance...

Are there ballroom dance parties in Hong-Kong? I don't live in HK but will be there for vacation in a few weeks. Will be fun to go to a dance party in HK if they are any such as Christmas Ball or New Year's Ball hehe.
 
Welcome to DF eyesonme! I'm afraid I don't know anything about the dance scene in Hong Kong, but I did want to welcome you to DF and wish you well on your journey in learning latin/ballroom!

Yes...Waltz & Tango is ballroom dance....I forgot!

i've been learning latin for about 9 months as well. also pick up ballroom dance last week.. love the move and want to learn more.
 
Where do you normally learn in HK? I'm thinking of doing some technique stuff when I go back for the easter holidays.

I used to see Jason Gauci (the Australian Salsa teacher, and he did some ballroom/latin with me last year), but I think he's changed jobs now...
 
Do you dance Argentine Tango?

I met a woman in Buenos Aires who now lives in HK and she might be able to help you with that.
