I had a big problem with enrosques, which are twists where the counter movement is initiated in the waist. The story has a funny ending...and how you managed to master them..
That's great! I think, Practice is the keyForgive if my answer seems ingenuine or contrived, but I believe learning is a life long journey, especially in dance.
I'm not sure I'll ever be confident enough to say I've mastered any dance movements. Some I execute significantly better than others, but even with my personal best there is always room for improvement (optimal balance, fine tuned technique, precise timing).
I enjoy mirroring and side-by-side work but also find them quite challenging. During those rare and magical moments when I can match my partner in the mirror with their curvature of arms, angles, sway, movement, and foot positions, I feel amazing. During this ethereal trance, this newbie may also be known to get overly excited and then trip over her own feet though.
I'll get there though. Practice, practice, practice...
I Really can't practice in front of the mirror.. I mean, i have tried it multiple times but failed lolAttempting to coordinate the Jack in House Dancing with the footwork. I learned if you can't do this, the dance moves don't come out correctly.
The other winner is attempting a three step move on a two count beat.
I mastered both of these through many hours of practice in front of a mirror.
PERFECT practice is the key. Practicing the WRONG way isn't going to help. That's great! I think, Practice is the key
Video? Just erase them afterwards!I Really can't practice in front of the mirror.

Here's a posture exercise. Stand with your back against a wall. The goal is to feel your shoulder blades against the wall. This will indicate that you're standing straight.I'm working on that hope ill learn it soon
