I'm a beginner in dancing and I don't know which dance to dance on song from Shania Twain - From this Moment.
Every help will be very appreciated.

This is a tough one. We get wedding couples in all the time with this chosen as their first dance song. It doesn't fit well with any of the "typical" ballroom dances: waltz or foxtrot, mostly.

You could *almost* rumba to it, but it would be really slow and just not be in the true character of the dance.

Hopefully someone else will have a better idea!

Well, it would help if I knew how to dance Bolero. :? God, I have two weeks till the wedding... But I am very grateful to all of you for your help! :) Now I at least know what to dance. I'll just have to find someone to teach me. Thx!!!

If you know rhumba...bolero isn't going to be hard to learn. You essentially replace your middle, sideways "quick, quick" with one long sliding slow. It is still a quick, quick, slow pattern, but you are a bit reversed with the quick, quicks your front and rear rock-step pattern and your slow in the middle. That explaination will make more sense when you try it. ;)

Hmm. The bolero basic isn't hard to learn, if you know rumba. I agree, TT. It fits. For sure. But it's really hard to make it look good. Super hard, IMO. Stretching out your movements to fill all the music is very difficult, especially for newer dancers.

If I wanted to learn something fairly quickly and easily for that song, I'd probably do NC2S. That fits, too, and is a very popular dance in the C&W scene. You'd fit right in with the crowd. Depending on where you're dancing, you could probably find somebody to teach you a couple basics right there. And, within a dance or two, you could do it yourself. :)

My two cents. 8)
