What type of dance?

Can anyone tell me what sort of dance would fit with Michael Buble's version of Save the Last Dance For Me? Is it a rumba? A cha cha? Something else? I don't have any formal training in ballroom dance (yet) so I really can't tell.

I've seen it done as a cha-cha several times--Alec and Edyta's cute little hat routine on DWTS this season among them.

More american rumba than cha-cha, IMO.

In International style it's definitely a chacha

On Strictly Come Dancing, Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova danced to that song as a Rumba !!

It can definitely be either one, but I personally think it has too much spunk for a rumba, so I'd prefer a cha cha.
